EXPORT PACKAGING / DELIVERY PROTECTION

Specify the protection the material needs before it is packed.

Packaging must match the stainless steel form, finish, dimensions, weight, transport route, weather exposure, loading equipment and destination conditions. Define those constraints before quotation or order release.

01 / PACKAGING DECISIONS

Set the controls that protect material in transit and at receiving.

The final method is order-specific. Confirm packing details with the supplier after the product, route, loading method, storage conditions and delivery requirements have been reviewed.

SURFACE

Protection

Define wrapping, separators, edge protection, film or another measure suitable for the specified finish.

LOAD

Support and handling

Specify pallet, skid, bundle, coil cradle, lifting points and any maximum safe handling weight.

MOISTURE

Route control

Identify paper, desiccant, sealed wrapping or other protection needed for weather and storage exposure.

IDENTITY

Marks and records

Set bundle or package marks, heat or batch reference, quantity, consignee and packing-list requirements.

State grade, product form, dimensions, finish, quantity, weight and any handling or presentation requirements.

03 / PROTECTION

Set the package

Review surface protection, support, moisture controls, lifting points, labels and document needs.

04 / RELEASE

Confirm before dispatch

Reconcile packing, marks, quantity, certificate scope, photos and delivery records before shipment is released.

03 / WRITE THE REQUIREMENT

Make protection and handling part of the RFQ.

Packing instructions added only after a quote can change feasibility, schedule or cost. Include packaging, marking and delivery constraints from the first request so the full route can be reviewed.
