Inspection & testing
An inspection request should identify the product, governing standard, acceptance basis, timing, records and release responsibility. State what is known and make open points visible early.
01 / Inspection scope
The checks should reflect the product form and acceptance basis. A generic “inspect before shipment” instruction is not enough to define coverage, method, records or release timing.
Define finish, edge, visible defects, protection, sampling and any agreed visual acceptance reference.
State the dimensions, measurement method, tolerance source, frequency and required record format.
Set any required chemical, mechanical, hardness, PMI or other test basis against the governing requirement.
02 / Inspection evidence
These positions are for inspection photography that clarifies actual material condition, method or records. Use real images from the relevant product and process—not generic industrial imagery.
Image brief: keep the material identity, measurement context or document reference visible where it supports the stated inspection scope.
