Formula

Bar kg/m = section area mm2 x density / 1000. Round bar area is pi x diameter squared / 4. Square bar area is side squared. Flat bar area is width x thickness.

A 25 mm round stainless steel bar at 7.93 g/cm3 weighs about 3.89 kg/m. A 6 m length weighs about 23.34 kg before packing.
